She is Broken, Tired but Stands Beautiful and Strong
Words can touch the heart in the most profound ways. Hoda Kotb’s Twitter on Thursday morning resonated with me as a woman. I wanted to share the words with as many readers as possible. Hopefully, in some way it will help you to know you are not alone. I believe all of us have felt this way at some point in our lives. Life isn’t easy, especially when it forces us to confront our ugly but we are stronger than we realize. The next time you face a tough challenge remember, we all walk together in the journey of womanhood. True strength comes from overcoming hardship.
Each one of us has their own own load to carry on her shoulders. We bear the weight of responsibility at home, work or relationships. We make mistakes because no one is perfect. The work we do looks effortless even when the bed of nails we’ve laid on has punctured every part of our body. There is no time for the weary. We need to provide emotional, financial and spiritual support to our loved ones. Many women do it alone without once complaining. They’ve been known to turn their heads to the injustices of society. Instead pushing off the pain in order to move forward to the next challenge.
We are strong beyond measure when placed under incredible pressure. The intensity brought by life’s work helps us evolve into something more beautiful than any gem. Women everywhere are exposed to reality’s elements. In spite of the adversity we continue to rise. Do not surrender who you are or the dreams that live within. Fight for what you believe, what you want and deserve. Be confident that you are worth everything.
Have a fabulous weekend!
